Quick Update . . .

The Crawford SSC2K with Johnny Mowlem at the wheel has moved up to fourth place, having passed the Racing Lola-Nissan and benefiting from problems to the Jim Matthews Racing Riley & Scott Mk3C.

This despite Mowlem making an unscheduled pit stop under yellow to further bleed the  brakes. Unfortunately he wasn’t able to rejoin in front of the pack and dropped another lap to the leader, the Dallara of Didier Theys, Max Papis, Mauro Baldi and team owner Freddy Leinhard.

Returning to the track, Mowlem reported the brakes were better.
