JOB ROLE AND PURPOSE:
Perform new product design (3D CAD), analysis (FEA: Thermal/CFD/Stress) and manufacturing process coordination, from concept generation toward final products. Produce conceptual and detailed designs of structural composite parts and assemblies. Develop mold designs and BOM for injection molding and composite structures. Conduct QC, testing and inspection per engineering principles and safety regulations in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 requirements.
Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, plus 2 years of experience with industrial/composite design engineering using MATLAB/CATIA/ANSYS/Solid Works; FEA: Thermal, CFD & Stress analysis; preparing mechanical drawings in 3DCAD & performing simulations; determining standards for QC, testing and inspections per engineering principles & safety regulations. Technical engineering writing experience required, demonstrated by professional experience or publications in peer reviewed journals.
